This is a hand painted slate trivet with burgundy and white flowers. It has two toned green leaves that pop out against the black background. It can be used as a decorative way to add some color to your kitchen but it is fully functional as a trivet.

I used acrylic paint which I allowed to air cure for 24 hours. Then it was given three coats of varnish on the front and one on the underside. It has rubber pads on the bottom so it won't scratch or mar any surface it's placed on. If it needs to be cleaned you can just wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash with a mild dish detergent.
Great effort has gone into accurately describing and photographing products, but please note color representation alters depending on individual screen settings.
